Good Guys of Morgan Run
Mission Statement:  The Good Guys are a group of men and
women from Morgan Run Resort and Golf Club who donate time,
energy, money and resources to raise funds to give to local families
or organizations who have specific needs. This is done through a
yearly drive to collect funds that culminates in a golf tournament and
auction.  

Selection Process for Awards:  The Board of Directors of the Good
Guys selects the persons or organizations to receive benefits based on
the following criteria:
  1. Person or family in financial need
  2. Immediate family members of the Good Guys Charter members,      
    sponsors and members of Board of Directors are excluded.
  3. Sponsors and donors have no direct control over the distribution of
    funds.
  4. The Board of Directors reviews and selects recipients based on the
    merits of the case and the annual fund theme.
  5. Nominations for awards may be submitted to Good Guys Board of
    Directors at any time.
The Good Guys 2006 fund drive resulted in the following activities and
results.  The Head Quarters U.S Marines at Camp Pendleton supplied the
Board of Directors with names of Marines who were seriously wounded in
Operation Freedom II in Iraq.  The Board of Directors selected twenty U.S.
Marines that had special needs.
